Somewhere Over The Rainbow:

A Concert for Charlie

  Saturday 24th June 2023

 

Over 200 people bought tickets and came along to watch such an amazing, beautiful and at times, heartbreaking, tribute to Charlie, at times it was too much to bear (as was the heat!).

Pupils from The Hill and Highdown School & Sixth Form Centre performed exquisitely, they could not have done Charlie any more proud. You're all stars - thank you x million

All the teachers and volunteers . . . THANK YOU, we couldn't have done this without you

 

All the local suppliers who donated drinks for the interval - thank you!! Thanks to the Mayor of

Reading for coming along and giving his support too.

 

But not least to all those who came along on a baking Saturday evening to support the event . . . you certainly dug deep and made sure our donation bucket was overflowing . . . we're speechless at such kindness & generosity!!

 

We're absolutely chuffed you have helped raise over £2,100 to help support children living with brain tumours
